aged people

problem : in western societies, aged people are usually abandoned in asylums or day-care centers. this produces on them a state of sadness that can derive in depressions and health state decayments

emotionally affected children

problem : emotionally affected children, are one of most sad dark points of today's societies. Abandoned children, alcoholic and violent parents, sexually abused children, etc are some of the origins of their problems. As a consequence, they close their mind, and they become unable to express their feelings

deaf people

problem : usually unable to produce sounds

result : when playing team games, under the pressure for the move of a companion, may produce unusual sounds

blind people

problem : difficulty to find entertainment and games for them.

mentally ill people

problem : mentally ill people live inside an artificial and isolated world. Besides their illness, common therapies like isolation and drugs are not an amazing entertainment for them.

alzheimer

problem : retired people, specially in stressed societies like the japanese, happen to suffer of a drastic brain activity at the retirement moment. This causes formerly very active brain cells to decay, causing alzheimer.

result : Dr Kaneko, a world-famous neuro surgeon, has reported about his work on alzheimer therapies using tools like games (go, go-moku) and music. He has provided encephalograms highlighting damaged brain areas with patients playing go and other games and patients not playing these. Differences can be observed between the two kinds of patients.
